Sheehan Parvez

From a young age, Sheehan dreamed of becoming a physician. He is currently pursuing that dream as a third-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Inspired by the mentors who helped shape his journey, Sheehan is passionate about mentorship, leadership, and service.

He serves as National President of The Long Haul, an organization he founded during the COVID-19 pandemic to connect pre-medical students with physicians and mentors.

Since its founding, the organization has expanded to multiple universities, including the University of Louisville, University of Kentucky, and the University of South Florida, helping students navigate the path to medical school.

Outside of medicine, Sheehan enjoys spending time with family and friends, surfing, and weightlifting.
